Hello! I am Jewel Sanchez. I am a part-time CIS student here at Cerritos trying to broaden my skills and learn things I can eventually reflect in my portfolio. I have my Bachelor’s in journalism, but I’m pivoting a bit and plan to use what I learn from Cerritos to prepare for applying to graduate school. My overall interests revolve around digital media storytelling, whether that's in the medium of audio, video, or photography. My last semester as an undergrad, however, showed me how much of an asset coding is in investigative journalism, so now I'm here trying to learn it myself. I am very new to the coding world, so I'm definitely new to HTML too, but I'm very excited to begin!
